What’s this gonna cost me? The ever present question when signing up for a service. EKR Interior Design is open about pricing structure and works transparently to show you where all hours are spent on each invoice.

The Consultation

After our initial phone call, the consultation is a face to face meeting at your project site. The consultation can either be an end in itself or the beginning of a larger, more in depth project.

If you are more of a DIY person and just want to get some ideas, then you can use a consultation as a jumping off point. We will use the time as hard hitting design session to answer as many of your questions as possible. I will make sketches, take notes, and bring paint swatches to give you ideas that you can implement on your own.

If you would like a full service design project, we will use the time to dig deep into what your wishes are and I will document the scope and photograph your site. Budget is a very important topic of discussion. I will also present you with a design contract and collect a retainer so that we can get started immediately.

The cost for a design consultation is $300 for up to 120 minutes. Additional fees may apply if your site is more than a 30 minute drive from Asheville.

Hourly Rate

EKR Interior Design charges an hourly rate of $125 per hour as of January 2019. This covers all the categories of design work and project implementation. Prices are subject to change, and I will update contracts and my site yearly to reflect current rates.
