A busy family from Miami found their dream home on a beautiful farm in the country. The house had been lived in and added to many times over the years. It took some work to undo the many layers of wallcovering and see beyond the antique stuffed space. By opening up the kitchen and adding a large window, a sunny central hub for the family was created.

Previously, the master bath had some major oddities such as a fireplace and washer and dryer.

The guest bath was very dated and had a beige shower insert. A much more fun and functional space was created by moving the toilet and creating a walk-in shower.

New finishes, lighting, and gorgeous Spanish tile in shades of cream and blue modernize the look.

By removing the unnecessary items and reconfiguring the entrance, a bright open space with an ample shower and private water closet became possible. The new finishes evoke a modern and sophisticated space. Tile with gold veining from Spain and a freestanding tub.
